Getting Started

APEX MicroHack is a one-day team exercise where you use GitHub Copilot to move from business requirements to an Azure platform design, deployment plan, and final showcase.

Start here if you are preparing for the event or running the workshop on your own time. Your hands-on work happens in a repository created from the template repo. This docs repo is the guide for setup, scenario context, and challenge navigation.

  • Get your environment ready before the event starts.
  • Read the Nordic Fresh Foods scenario and assign team roles.
  • Work through the challenges in order using GitHub Copilot and your Dev Container.
  • A GitHub Copilot Business or Enterprise license.
  • One Azure subscription per team with the required access and quota in swedencentral.
  • A working Dev Container and a repository created from the template repo.
  1. (Windows beginners) Beginner Setup (Windows) for a screenshot walkthrough of installing tools and cloning the repo.
  2. Setup Guide for the canonical pre-event checklist, tooling, quota, costs, and cleanup.
  3. Workshop Prep for the scenario brief, mission, and team roles.
